Lyford Road, London
The design of this spacious London garden was predominantly about the connection between the house and the art and music studios at the rear of the garden.
The idea was to work with some of the best of the existing mature tree and shrub planting and to retain the original relaxed feel of the garden. A generous terrace links with a series of circular interlocking lawns at different levels. The rusted circular metal arch ‘window’ through which you enter to the raised level garden, provides a great focus and view down the length of the garden.
The garden has a great play area for the children, space to run, entriguing paths and intimate spaces for adults to relax and socialise.
